7-Day Golden Triangle Tour

6 Nights / 7 Days · Delhi, Agra, Jaipur & a Village, Cooking Class and Artisan Workshops Day

Rated 4.9 out of 5
✓Licensed local guides✓Free cancellation, 7 days✓No hidden costs
The 7-day golden triangle tour takes our 6-day itinerary and adds one more unhurried day for the things a fast trip never has room for: a hands-on Indian cooking class, an afternoon in a rural Rajasthani village, and a stop with local artisans practicing block printing and pottery. It’s the slowest pace of our Golden Triangle lineup and our most requested leisure golden triangle tour package for travelers who want depth over speed.

7-Day Golden Triangle Tour — Quick Overview

This is a private 7 day golden triangle tour with a village experience covering Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, plus a full extra day split between a hands-on cooking class, a rural village visit and time with local artisans — not a wildlife safari (see our separate Golden Triangle with Ranthambore tour for that). It includes a private AC vehicle, licensed guides, 6 nights in handpicked hotels, and the Taj Mahal. Prices start at $1,649 per person (approximately ₹1,36,500), with free cancellation up to 7 days before departure.
PS

Extended route built by Priya Sharma, Jaipur-based cultural guide

Added the cooking class and village day specifically because guests kept asking for something slower and more hands-on after the 6-day tour — this is the one day where you’re not moving between monuments, just cooking, talking to artisans and seeing how a Rajasthani village actually runs.

Best Time to Visit & What the Extra Days Add

Best Season for This Itinerary

October to March is best, as with every Golden Triangle route — cooler weather makes the village walk and outdoor artisan demonstrations far more comfortable, and the cooking class runs indoors year-round if you do travel outside this window. Avoid the peak monsoon months (July–August) for the village leg specifically, since rural roads can be affected.

Where the Extra Days Actually Go

The core Delhi–Agra–Jaipur triangle is the same ~720 km as our other tours. This itinerary adds a short 60–90 minute drive from Jaipur to a nearby village for the artisan and cooking-class day, so it stays an easy, low-drive-time golden triangle tour itinerary for 7 days — no single day on the route runs longer than about 5–6 hours of driving.

7-Day Golden Triangle Tour — Overview

Everything from our 6-day tour, plus a full extra day built around three things: a hands-on Indian cooking class, an afternoon in a working Rajasthani village, and time with local block-printing and pottery artisans. If you’d rather add a tiger safari or a spiritual detour instead, see our separate Golden Triangle with Ranthambore or Golden Triangle with Varanasi tours — this one is built for travelers who want the slowest, most immersive leisure golden triangle tour package in our lineup.

The cooking class was the best afternoon of the whole trip — our guide's mother walked us through everything and we still make the dal at home now.

Meeting the block-printing family near Samode was completely different from anything else on the itinerary. Slower, quieter, and honestly the day we talk about most.
