Your driver collects you from your Delhi hotel at 6:00 am for the drive to Jaipur (5–6 hours, with a breakfast stop). Arrive around midday, check in and have lunch. In the afternoon your guide takes you to Hawa Mahal for photographs, then through the City Palace museum and the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar. Finish with a stroll through Johari Bazaar as the shops light up. Overnight in Jaipur.
Reach Amber Fort as it opens, riding up by jeep rather than elephant, and walk through the Sheesh Mahal and Ganesh Pol before the tour buses arrive. Stop at Jal Mahal for a photo, then visit a block-printing workshop to see how the famous fabrics are made. After lunch, drive back to Delhi (5–6 hours), arriving in the evening. Jaigarh Fort can replace the workshop on request.

Yes. Leave Delhi early on Saturday and return on Sunday evening. Saturdays and Sundays are the busiest days at the monuments, so our early Amber Fort entry and afternoon palace timing are designed to work around the crowds.
As soon as it opens, usually around 8 am. Between about 10 am and 1 pm the courtyards and the jeep queue are at their busiest, so we plan Amber first thing on day two.
